Still, Small Voice

God speaks to me in a still, small voice, a gentle whisper of divine ideas.


I am sure that God has time for every one of my prayers, no matter how insignificant some of them may seem. Whenever I pray, I feel God's presence as love, as peace, as unconditional acceptance of me. God is the loving Spirit that created me and continues to love me throughout eternity.

I know and rely on the awesome power of God, yet in those blessed times when I feel that God is speaking to me, it is not an overwhelming or startling voice that comes through. I receive God's message -- conveyed in thought and feeling -- as a still, small voice, a gentle whisper of a divine idea.

That my all-powerful Creator would speak to me in a still, small voice of love and gentleness is but one way God assures me that I am Loved.
